Strategy Session

Making the Most of Your Executive Skills

Do you ever feel like you need a three dimensional spreadsheet to keep track of all the things you need to do, and remember, in your life?

In today’s session we will introduce executive skills as defined by Peg Dawson and Richard Guare in their ‘Smart but Scattered’ series of books, and explore the following:

  • What are your executive skill strengths and weaknesses, and where do they show up for you in your life?

  • How can you make the most of your strengths and work with your weaknesses?

Strategy Sessions are about “how to,…”.  They are likely to include:

  • information about something related to ADHD life experience in general;

  • an opportunity to relate this back to how you do, or don’t, experience ADHD personally;

  • an invitation to consider what this means for you, and if there’s anything you might like to experiment with, or approach differently, as a result.

These sessions will usually include participation via Zoom chat. The session may also include time for personal reflection, Q&A, or small group discussions in breakout-rooms.
